Natural Disasters Can Turn into a Big Problem
Realistically it is not a zombie apocalypse, meteorite or even nuclear fallout that will destroy your home. A tornado, earthquake, volcano, tsunami is more likely going to destroy your home. In America you have a pretty good government that is pretty good about helping people out in emergencies.

Remember back in New Orleans when hurricane Katrina wrecked Mardi Gras for everyone. President Bush was out there pointing and yelling and saying things like “that darn hurricane aint tougher an I am”.
Had it been possible he probably would have had the U.S. armed forces take military action against Katrina. But congress wouldn’t go for that because natural disasters cannot be fought against like concepts of terror.
Yeah those war loving, fear mongering, propaganda consuming republicans have a good way of taking care of their health, just kill it if it poses a threat. Of course this won’t work against a tornado or earthquake.
So it is necessary to take a more liberal approach. Not to say you should go sign up for welfare or check yourself into a FEMA camp; for one that is not good for the economy and secondly no one knows why the Federal Emergency Management Agency is building those.
Perhaps they have some sort of protective surface to air missile in there to slave labor safe. These types of things are great against incoming nukes presumably called “harmony guardian”.
No joke the military actually names their bombs as if they were little children, but the names may be a little misleading. For example a remote controlled missile is actually called a “peace keeper”, for obvious reasons of keeping peace by blowing things up.
The best way to keep your body safe in different emergencies would be to have a game plan and the necessary components to put that plan into action. If your plan requires that you hid out in a shelter while a tornado passes over head, then you will probably actually need to have an underground shelter.
Shelters work great for bombs too, so they say anyway. Inside your shelter you should probably have some food and water.
FEMA says you should have a 72 hour kit, but that is only because they don’t want you to last more than three days. It is much more advantageous to have 168 hour kit.
Of course if you are trekking out into the wilderness searching for a new home you probably will only be able to carry about 72 hours of supplies. Point of all this, natural forces are working to destroy your life, so be prepared.
