The world has become much more conscious of the foods that we eat and the drink in the current day. Where a decade ago people would quite happily scoff down some fast food or junk food, now people are more aware of what they are eating/drinking and the way forward seems to be the fact that people are blending more fruits to make healthy shakes.
The first commercial blenders were made as early as 1921 by Dr. Oliver Johnson Schofield although surely they couldn’t have predicted how popular the blender would become over the years. If you check most homes across the United States of America right now you will probably find that most households have commercial blenders somewhere in their kitchen, and they are being used for more and more things in the United States with anything from apples, bananas and oranges being mixed in with cream, raisins, chocolate and many other things. I think I have even seem someone add eggs to their commercial blender mix in an aid to get the required protein into their shake.
Commercial blenders can be used for a number of reasons. Obviously one of the most popular uses for the blender is to make smoothies, although some of the smoothies that I have seen haven’t been that healthy. Another option is to use your commercial blenders to create a pancake mixture. You can do this by hand but why go to all the trouble of creating this by hand when you can simply place the ingredients in a blender press a button and hey presto you have pancake mix.
Another popular use for commercial blenders would be to make whipped cream. Everyone likes to indulge themselves at time with a cake with some whipped cream on. If you have already been good and created a smoothie so that you could get your five pieces of fruit and vegetable a day then why not indulge yourself with a little treat. Some people will claim that one moment I’m taking about people needing to avoid junk food and the next I’m telling them to treat themselves to a little treat. But the fact of the matter is that a little treat every now and then will not hurt you. If you eat everything in moderation then your body will be able to burn off the excess. It is when we constantly indulge in this kind of activity that we can get ourselves into trouble with the scales.
